Setting up your Sipura SPA-2000 to work with iConnectHere is easy! The following instructions will help you set up your adaptor in a simple Step-by-Step method.
- Introduction: How does broadband phone work?
- Step 1: Connect your Sipura SPA-2000 to your Broadband connection
- Step 2: Verify your IP address and Initial SPA-2000 Configuration

How should the broadband adaptor connect to your network?
You must have a broadband Internet connection and the Sipura SPA-2000. Since the adaptor works independently of your computer, there are no requirements at all for your operating systems.
In some case you will not necessarily need a router if your cable modem has 2 Ethernet ports and supports NAT. Routers and Broadband service are not sold through iConnectHere. Routers are generally available from most retail or online stores.
Please follow the following step-by-step guide below to setup your Sipura SPA-2000 to work with iConnectHere Broadband Phone Service.
Step 1: Connect the Sipura SPA-2000 to your Broadband connection
- Connect your power and a RJ-45 Ethernet cable to the left side of the Sipura SPA-2000.
- Connect up to two regular analog telephones to the right side of the Sipura SPA-2000, using standard RJ-11 telephone cables.
Step 2: Verify your IP address and Initial SPA-2000 Configuration
- To configure the SPA-2000, users should have the following information:
- IP address, Sub-Net and Gateway addresses or DHCP availability
- deltathree User IDs and passwords (incoming phone number is optional)
- Use a touch tone telephone attached to Port 1 or Port 2 of the SPA-2000 and press the star key four times (****) to enter the Sipura Configuration menu.
Please use the table below for options and responses to the information you may use to configure the SPA-2000:
Step 3: Upgrade the SPA-2000 software version

Click here to download the software. Once you have completed the download, run the application and follow the prompts to complete installation.
Make sure to install the software on a computer that is connected to the same network as the SPA-2000. Please do not unplug the SPA until the status light stops blinking and the software installation is complete. This process can take several minutes.
When the software has been installed on the SPA, you will see a popup window with the message “Your SPA has been successfully upgraded to the version show below: 2.0.11(g)”
